Today we would like to share with you this short video 🎥 of our repair of a 2003 TOYOTA Highlander climate control we did for Daniel from Fowlerville, MI. He explained that the temperature adjustment stopped working and is stuck on hot. It almost looks like condensation leaked onto the connectors from the inside. When soldering a strong acid smell also came from the board which was damaged from the wires crossing. We solved the problem by removing the old broken connector and soldered in 3 new wire leads . This issue is quite common for the 2001-2007 Highlander cars and is a rather expensive part new. Fixing it is the best option! Luckily we have the solution and inventory the parts required to fix it.
