This is also an OEM replacement/upgrade part for OBD1 BMW E36 325, M3 (Inline 6) & E39 540i, BMW E38 740i (4.0L V8 engines). The diameter of this EURO HFM is 3.5",vs. 3.0" which comes on US version BMW's. The 3.0" US version manifold is a VERY restrictive bottleneck in the intake system, which when upgraded with this 3.5" unit, it is dyno proven to 10+ Real Horsepower on the BMW E36/E38/E39 AND increased gas mileage (mpg) and fuel efficiency with the correct software!
